If I could tell you one thing, it’s that you are lavishly, scandalously loved by God. It took me entirely too long to learn that, and I’d love to shorten your learning curve. I’ve spent my grown-up years loving one man, loving one God, and loving many great words. I’ve spent too many minutes of this life sweating the small stuff. I’m a recovering perfectionist learning to receive and extend grace.
I live in New England and really truly love all four seasons – not just in theory, but in fact when we are surrounded by mounds of snow, pollen filled air, swarms of mosquitoes and all those brightly colored leaves.
I’m a huge fan of the last half hour of sun and a great song at max volume. I believe that Jesus is better than pizza and that’s sayin something.
I so want this space to be a conversation and not me doing all the talking, so comment when you feel like it and contact me when you feel like it.
Why Worthy Words & Work?
I’m a sucker for a well turned phrase. I believe that our words matter, and my heart is to utter worthy not worthless words. Jeremiah 15:19 states, “if you utter worthy, not worthless, words, you will be My spokesman.” Oh that my words – that my casual utterances and my crafted thoughts – be worthy of my great God.
With more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit and church communications and marketing, I’ve learned some valuable lessons about audience and messaging – about using words to help people love your mission as much as you do. If you’d like to know more about how I can help your Christ-centered nonprofit or ministry, check out my consulting work.
